Some additional services may be free of charge, including bringing in mail and packages, cleaning pet dishes, pet picture updates, and turning on and off lights. Services that may cost extra are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list, please contact us with and questions or inquires.
Plant watering, indoor and outdoor:
5 plants or less $5 per watering
5-10 plants. $10 per watering
10 or more plants, individually priced
Miscellaneous errands:
$25 per errand plus cost of any items purchased.
Pet furniture and activity installation and consultations:
$25/hour, $50 minimum
Wedding or event pet escort:
$30 per hour, transportation costs not included (see pet taxi).
Policies and Fees
Hot and Cold weather protocol:
Walks may be shortened during inclement weather for dog and walker safety. This includes but is not limited to; weather extreme heat/humidity, extreme cold/wind chill, or air quality alerts. In these conditions we will begin and end the walk with as much outdoor time as is safe, and in-between your pet can enjoy indoor play and cuddle time. Exact temperature requirements are individual depending on your pets size, age, and breed.
Holiday policies and fees:
We are open and available for booking for all major holidays. Because these time slots fill quickly we charge a 40% nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit on all holiday bookings due at the time of booking. This deposit goes towards the total cost of your invoice. We charge 100% for holiday cancelations with less than two week notice.
We also charge a $5 holiday fee per invoice for all major holidays. This fee goes directly to your sitter to thank them for their time and efforts.
Additional Services
Cancelations:
We do not issue refunds for paid services. We credit the amount paid towards future services when applicable.
We charge full price for cancelation within 48 hours of all scheduled services.
Pet sit and overnight cancelation:
We charge 20% of the total invoice for cancelations with notice of one week or more, 40% for cancelations of service with less than one weeks notice, and full price for cancelations within 48 hours of the scheduled service.
Cancelation fees may be waved in the case of personal or family emergency or illness.
Transmittable illness and parasites:
If your or your pet are home with a contagious illness, we ask that you contact us to cancel services. We can not work in a home with easily transmittable parasites such as headlice, fleas, or mites. We will charge a $50 disinfecting fee if we discover these parasites during our visits.
Some conditions are not grounds for cancelation, such as conjunctivitis and giardia, but your sitter must be notified before they arrive for your visit so they can take the necessary precautions.
